If I'm dreading the news that I got the job

I'm a SAHM who works sporadically as a freelancer, but frankly would probably prefer a job like the one you may be about to get! Congratulations! It'll be a big adjustment, but you'll do great.

I'm not sure if you should take it if it pays less than babysitter wages. I think your skills are worth more (even if rusty) if you used to be an Exec Director.

It's an awesome job market. call a few placement firms, and get a better job at a decent wage.
or tell potential new boss- sorry I evaluated with my family and I can't take a job paying less than $30/hour (or whatever)

and future jobs will ask you what you get paid now, and if you say $15/hr or $20/hour, you will anchor yourself low. It will be hard to climb up from there.
