Trump assures citizenship for DACA recipients

It doesn't matter what Trump says or thinks about DACA. He will do as he is told by President KellyMiller.

Also, any DACA adult who blocks traffic, blocks admission to Disneyland, or creates a public disturbance is subject to deportation. These people have got to learn some manners - and a sense of appreciation. They are guests in this country who never should have been here in the first place. Thanks, Obama.

In favor of those measure, though without the "path to voting" mentioned by the president.

Oh, honey. You are on the losing side of this issue.

I don't recall Trumpsters saying they would be fine with DACA path to citizenship in exchange for the wall funding during the campaign, or even just after Trump won.

I recall them saying:

1. no DACA
2. Mexico will pay for the wall

What changed? Reality set in and you and Trump realized that MX actually isn't going to pay for the wall? That Trump can't do a damn thing about funding for the wall without giving in to something else?

Do Trump voters think US taxpayer dollars going to the wall is a good idea?

Holding some "mexican" hostage for the wall payment ransom from american taxpayers is what he meant.

Yeah, far left liberal loonies. Let's talk about changing positions and lies....Obama: " If you like your Doctor you can keep your Doctor" is my ALL time fave.

Doesn't hold a candle to "Mexico will pay for the wall."

+1 It's not like Obama changed his mind and decided that you couldn't keep your doctor. That unfortunately became part of an unintended consequence. Trump however flat out flip/flopped, like he did with other things... ie, "I will renegotiate drug prices.." to "I will be cutting their taxes and deregulating and not re-negotiating after all".

I guess President Trump disagrees:

We either pay now, or pay to educate the next generation of illegal immigrants and provide government assistance programs to their anchor babies. The wall will ultimately be cheaper.

The GOP is singing its death knell with this. They really should have taken Graham-Durbin.

Why isn't Mexico paying as Trump promised?

Trumpettes, what will you do if he actually does that?

Were there words coming out of his mouth?

But I thought that Mexico was going to pay for the wall? What happened to that?

I think most GOP would be fine with this. I know I would. What most GOP wants is to stop the flow once and for all. The end to chain migration would also be a big plus. I think it also gets rid of the diversity lottery.

The problem in the past is that the Congress has voted for border security--but never appropriated the funds to finish the job. Sec Nielson said that she needs more personnel and this does that. She also needs to be able to send people back. If you come in and say the right words (taught by the coyotes) you get to stay.

I think the plan has promise. It is pretty much what I would like.
