We train for Spartan Races together. There are a lot of partner type exercises you can do, and the training would call for a variety of activities. Sometimes we run or bike. We push sleds at the gym. We throw medicine balls to each other. Go hiking. Spot each other lifting weights. It’s very fun because you can change it up a lot, and work together toward a common goal.

We used to do Insanity and p90x before kids got up in the mornings.

DH and I run together—he slows his pace for me—and do HIIT workouts (fitness blender or whatever else looks good online). Our kids are 12&14, so can be left alone while we run 3-5 miles. HIIT workouts are a little bit noisy, depending on the layout of your house, but can be done with no/little equipment and relatively little time.

Yoga. Seriously. It is a very sexy thing to do together. You will sweat and you will get strong and flexible.

We alternate early morning workouts at the gym or on the home treadmill. On the weekends we take the kids to childcare. We have't found an exercise we can do togehter at home, but we like different things. We do take body pump and boot camp together sometimes though.

Is this a typo? I think it must be, since the "easy to do in the evenings or during naps" wouldn't apply to a dog. Still can't figure out what you meant to type, though.
