Best home depot or lowes for bathroom tile (in dc area- preferably nova)

We live in McLean and we bought good quality white Daltile at either HD or Lowes, but I forget which. Either HD at 7 Corners or maybe Lowes on Richmond Hwy south of 495. The quality was fine.

PP is correct that either one can get (usually at better pricing) a wider range of tile than they have on display.

We were able to get good help at the big box store, by not going on the weekend. Instead, we went mid-day on a non-holiday weekday, when they were less busy and after the “Pro” buyers early morning rush was over.
