We came to the same conclusion, re: south of Lawyers Rd, but it does rule out some good houses.
Is the Deepwood pool open yet? Could you see the house Saturday afternoon and listen for noise? Would you be able to afford the HOA + a Reston pool membership? Depending on your kids' ages, you might want access to the pools where most of their school friends will be. |
| OP, what did you decide? |
| We decided to pass on Deepwood becausr the HOA seems excessive, especially given that it does not include access to other Reston pools. Clipstone is gorgeous, but would need to come down $20 for us to feel good about making an offer (it has a few issues we would need the extra cash to remediate-- still a great house, though). Might go see the one on Paddock but basically waiting for a new one to pop up... |
| If you live in the Town Center Proper and pay Reston Town Center Association dues can we use the Reston Pools, Tennis Courts etc. Is the Reston Town Center Association part of the Reston Association? |
Did you really raise a 5 yr dead post for a new question? No. The answer to your question is no. |
| No I am new to the community! No need for such sarcasm! Not a welcoming post for a newcomer to Reston! Please in the future try being a little more understanding with your words. A simple yes or no would have been sufficient. |
| Why would anyone ever want to live in Reston? It’s jus an overpriced Burke. |
when I lived in reston, they had option for non "restonites" to pay for pool membership. not sure if that still happens or not... but you coudl reach out to RA, they have email and will answer your questions. and good job and doing a search and finding a thread. even though it didn't answer your question it showed that you tried. Rather than some of the folks who ask question with out searching first. Ignore the previous posters... Must be jealous. Besides, Who would want to live in Burke |
