where should I look to buy a used car? Or can DCUM find a solution?

Carmax! Lots of people on here hate it; they say it's overpriced. But I have loved my car-buying experience there and I've gotten great cars at good prices.

I guess I was looking at it more from a cash flow point, that I could maybe pay 300 to 350 or so a month total
the cab might not be an issue going out there, getting home might be trickier

Also, have you looked into renting a car from an airport via priceline? I once "named my own price" and paid $11/day to rent a car (this was in FL a few years ago, but still). He might have to turn in the car every few weeks or after a month, but it could be cheaper and easier than buying a car that will only be used fir a couple months.
wow! I will look into this!

My first thought, too!

Don't go to Fitzgerald unless you want to be ripped off big time-true scam artists!

+1. You may not get the best deal, but you will get a fair price with no stress.
