When I moved to the east coast for college, I was in for a rude awakening with the Blue Laws. So stupid.

Yes, we moved from CA, and found we couldn't buy wine at the grocery store. I've lived in CA for 40 yrs (and lived in no other state prior to moving here) so it was definitely weird to me.
