The Democrat Party is pretty unified. Trump has basically declared war on the Republican Party. So, it isn't far fetched to think his supporters would be upset with the local Republican party officials.

Trump is turning on the GOP establishment. If 'low-info' voters like you had been paying attention to this election that much would have been obvious.

Trump doing it is really the only thing that makes sense. Hillary is winning in an electoral college landslide. Her supporters don't really have anything to be upset about.

This is actually not an uncommon tactic among fringe (fascist and their ilk) parties. Hitler did tons of stuff like this -- attacking his own people and blaming the communists. Given Trump's anti-democracy rhetoric lately, I'm not a bit surprised by this effort to further delegitimize the process.

I hope they quickly catch those responsible.
