Hillary ahead by only 4 pts -- how is this possible??!?!

A 4 point lead for either candidate can still result in a significant electoral victory, which is what ultimately matters.

Except, no it wouldn't.

What are you doing to make sure of that?

Of course, these are national numbers. Not state by state, which is how the presidency is won.

I would have to dig deeper as to why this poll shows 4 points and another shows 11, though. Something is off.

No poll will be right until their reputation is riding on accuracy - that will be close to the election.

Now consider that even if Hillary wins through electoral, if the popular vote is close, i.e. 53/47 or something similar, that means a whole hell of a lot of people feel strongly about the issues Trump promotes.

but that's consisted of alt-R + Trump + GOP + never Hillary/independent voters right? i'm a naturalized citizen and the thought of 47% of my fellow American might not really welcome me and might discriminate against my native born children really depresses me at times.

I'd be even more depressed to find a homemade bomb planted outside my place in Manhattan.

This election, I've given wrong answers to every poll. Q: Are you voting for Hillary? YES (not really). Are you voting for the meals tax? YES (no way in hell). That said, I work in politics. I think the polls are pretty accurate. Too many of them same virtually the same thing. Four more years of Clinton scandals. Yippee. Can't wait.

Yes, it can. Which is why I think Hillary will take it. The dems have learned how to cheat and that's been proven on video.

And this condescending attitude is the same one that Hillary holds and this is why people don't like her.

Only 4%, but her electoral map far exceeds Trumps so she pretty much has this election wrapped up. So excited!!

No, it's not. Be honest with yourself.

Well then, why don't they like her?

On Oct 22, the WaPo ABC News poll had Romney up by 1 point.

Obama won by 4 points.

If you fear a pollster coming after you, yes, I think you might be very dumb.
