He won't need stamps: military doesn't need stamps when mailing letters.
the PP that suggested a Leatherman had a nice idea, but I'm not sure if it would be allowed. Looks like infantry dad gave you a good suggestion though. One thing (not graduation, but in general) that would be nice is for you to send care packages when he's away. |
Stamp poster here: since the price goes up on May 9th, buy a stack of Forever Stamps for yourself and your family members so they will have a reason to mail him letters!

| My husband, who enlisted in the Marines right out of high school, suggested that you get him a nice dvd set about the Marines. Something patriotic and motivational, much like this: http://store.discovery.com/detail.php?p=85444&v=military-channel&SESSID=3cc0248900532b77f193a328de4eaeb4 and then after he graduates from Parris Island you could get him a nice Marine Corps ring, much like this: http://www.jewelbasket.com/jbdrarm119.html My DH still has his ring from 15 years ago and it means a ton to him. Also, I cannot stress how meaningful letters will be while he's at Parris Island. DH still has all of his letters, all wrapped up in an large envelope. |
