This is not some random supporter saying crazy shit in the community. She was sitting in Ted Cruz campaign headquarters, making voter calls on behalf of Ted Cruz. Sounds like no one in the Cruz organization had a problem with what she was wearing. |
What's source for pic? |
I'm guessing the Trump campaign. |
Pic was taken by Robert Costa, who I believe is the Washington Editor for National Review (the right-wing politics magazine). https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2016/01/08/the-daily-202-for-ted-cruz-being-the-iowa-frontrunner-is-a-blessing-and-a-curse/ |
Seriously! |
First of all, stop the body shaming. Folks who do that are behaving like assholes. It's like walking around with a confederate T-shirt on, if you get what I'm saying.
The problem here is the intellectual aesthetic... there's plenty to rave about in that regard. |
I don't like Ted Cruz. Or Donald Trump. Or most republicans for that matter. But I find this thread offensive. Why are we picking on some random individual? Grow up. |
She's not some random individual. She is working for a Presidential campaign at its state HQ. She's wearing a t-shirt with an image of the Confederate battle flag, in NH, in 2016, and nobody from the campaign thought that there we an issue. Fox News is icing on the cake. It's all fair game. This is a political cartoon come to life. |
What we see here is nothing new. I don't even read polls anymore. I just see who the left is attacking and know that is who's leading |
OP here. Speaking personally, the underlined part is the most significant. An individual is free to wear whatever she wants. But when she's working at campaign HQ, she's representing Ted Cruz, and her shirt becomes part of the campaign. Either ask her to cover up her shirt, or send her home to change. Sorry if people wanted a more bombastic thread title. I think the picture speaks well enough for itself. |
She is. Jeff is known to delete threads for this. When a random liberal's fee-fees are offended LOL I've lived in NH long enough to know one thing for sure. It's a blue state inhabited by idiots who can't afford the neighboring Mass or Maine. For reasons obvious to anybody with half a brain. |
Sure but the ugly and fat comments don't really add to the political commentary... |
Remind me who is leading the polls in NH? Most Democrats would love to see Rafael Cruz as the nominee. Almost as much as Trump. Try to figure out why. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/01/10/us/politics/for-republicans-mounting-fears-of-lasting-split.html?_r=0I |
Interesting slate article on the man himself:
