No, they clearly said they are a 4 and there is vanity sizing, which is what op wanted to know. Helpful answer, vs your jealous one.

Um, no. I would look like a twig if I were your size. I'm pretty thrilled with my size 8 curves. Real women have curves and all (oh, are you going to get offended by that? Am I thin shaming you?)

I'm not one of those people that posted, but to imply that "real" women have curves is a jab at non curvy women and you intended it as such. BTW size 8 is still pretty thin by many standards so you might not be a real woman in the eyes of plenty of people.

OP here - got a pair of Sofia Skinny jeans at Macy's on Black Friday. I LOVE Them - so comfy - so thanks! I did get my regular size, but after wearing them today, I feel like I might have been able to get one size down and been ok. I felt like the size down gave me a muffin top, though, so I think I chose right.

Here is the thing with Lucky Brand, I love them and they are pretty much the only brand I wear, but they tend to stretch. They will start to conform to your body as you wear them and the stretch gives way to form fitting if that makes sense. I usually wear them a few times and then judge weather I should put them in the dryer or not after washing. If they are very stretched out I put them in the dryer if they only stretch a little I let them air dry.

Just got a pair of Lolita skinny in 0/25--the PP was right, there's vanity sizing there. I'm usually a 4 in AT, BR, etc...

Not sure how it is vanity sizing. They go by waist and inseam. A 29 waist is a 29 waist, no matter what number they put in front of it.

In my experience I have found that AT and BR vanity size and Lucky Brand is more true to size. I have also found that if you buy from any of their Outlet Stores the fit can be entirely different (especially with Lucky Brand).

Yes, this is me too. I think they are truer to size than many "mall" brands. I'm also an 8 in Ralph Lauren jeans and Joe's Jeans.
