I think, as a younger woman, she was "girl next door" cute, which is what Jennifer Anniston is. She hasn't aged well because she hasn't had that much work done nor is she starving herself. As for how she got Clooney and Slatterly, I'd say that she probably has a great personality....reading about those two on People, etc, it seems as though she'd have to be a "guy's girl" type.
