Do you let your tween/teen walk around barefoot?

Where do you live?

I'd be concerned about the floors/carpet in my own home! There's a reason we don't wear shoes in the house. That reason is defeated if you're walking without shoes outside of the house. DS better be washing his feet with a garden hose before entering if he's going around barefoot.

+1 total agreement. I have no issue with walking around outside barefoot, but feet have to be hosed down to come in the house. So it's easier to throw on some flip flops. Yes, feet still get dirty, but not the same level.

Are y'all kidding? Yes, my kid can walk around outside with bare feet.

Yes, you're helicoptering if you're concerned about this.
