I think she is turning out as we expected - a conciliator, trying to split the difference on most things.

She is moving the one city streetcar line forward (albeit slowly) but putting the rest of the system in deep freeze.

She is pushing ahead on McFarland, but going slowly on the other new middle schools.

Moving ahead with the redevelopment of District properties, but on her own terms.

Pushing ahead on affordable housing, but not scrapping the programs to convert public housing to mixed income.

A middle of the road mayor, nothing daring, and probably nothing disastrous.
