All you need to bring is car seat and stroller. Restaurants have high chairs. Take a shower with your kid and wash him. Hand him off to your husband to dry as you finish your shower. Use the pack n play at the hotel.

You don't need to buy a special mattress for your pnp. People usually do this only if the pnp is going to be the main crib for the baby at home.

Even though you will be at an apt instead of a hotel, you do not need to pack or buy a high chair. Let your toddler sit in a chair or eat picnic style. Feed your kid for the week you'll be there.

People, pack n plays come with mattresses!!! There is absolutely no need to waste time or money buying some kind of extra mattress to go over the included mattress.
