Elite schools that do NOT give AP credit

I went to Dartmouth on the late 80s and they did not give credit for AP although they used it for placement. They changed the policy and then changed it back.

Yes - I think a lot of schools changed from no AP credit in the past to offering AP credit and some are now changing back. If you haven't been paying attention you might not be aware of the changes.

Not really a trend, more of a 'the way it has always been.'

I went to Penn early 90s - a million years ago - and got a full year's worth of credits for APs. (2 semesters for a 5 on calc AP, histories, etc. they didn't take English APs even then tho)
