wow, a patient gold digger...but she sounds nuts, throwing raw meat at her step daughter |
The raw meat was supposed to represent something from the bible. |
I thought it was feeding the dogs, like they're rabid for his money. Or something like that. I was totally team kids but the more I read the less sure I am. |
Yes, I realize that, but throwing raw meat at someone even while quoting the Bible is still nuts! |
It is, but it's a very emotional time. Her husband is on life support and his kids are taking him off, which I think grants her a little leeway in the crazy antics. |
Plus, I think it was just a package of meat, not like handfuls of ground beef, which somehow seems less crazy to me. |
| End of life decisions are extremely hard on everyone - and it's very hard to let go and say goodbye - these antics are extreme - but I'd like to think they were done out of love and the hard reality of having to say goodbye to someone who has been in your life for 30-40 years. |
Agree. She didn't allow his children to see him. His daughter went to court to get the power to make medical decisions. I realize she's bitter, but given his condition, I think the daughter made the right choice. |
| He died today. So sad. |
Lots of memories holding my cassette player up to the radio and recording songs off the top 40 countdown. Keep your feet in the ground, and keep reaching for the stars. |
Well said, PP! I feel like a part of my childhood died today, even if it sounds very dramatic to say so out loud
|
Same here. I don't think my kids would understand any part of that process! |
| Casey is on right now on Sirius, 70's, they are doing a 24 hr tribute. The memories, he was a big part of my childhood too, I would listen to him on my little transistor radio. |
| I loved listening to him growing up. I used to listen to the Top 40 every weekend in the 70s. He was like music google before the internet. You couldnt just find out random fun facts about your favorite artists like you do now. He made those damn stories sound so interesting. Oh...and Scooby Doo too. Everytime I hear Ryan Secrest on the radio doing the top 40 I think "what the hell is this sh*t?" |
| RIP Casey Kasem! Great memories of his Top 40 as a teen! |
