TruKid makes a body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Not sure if they have a combined shampoo/conditioner.
For this summer we're going to go with L'Oreal Kids swim shampoo/conditioner to help with the chlorine buildup. |
I have struggled to find a good conditioner for my long fine hair, and I LOVE tresseme. Awesome stuff. |
This stuff is liquid gold after the bath or shower:
http://www.drugstore.com/johnsons-no-more-tangles-detangler-spray/qxp14462 I also like this brand for me and the kids: http://www.target.com/p/sheamoisture-mango-carrot-kids-extra-nourishing-conditioner-8-fl-oz/-/A-14319197#prodSlot=medium_1_3&term=shea+moisture |
I let my kid start with a boar bristle brush that I bought at the drug store. It doesn't completely work out every kink but it's easier than trying to get a comb through.
You also might find success with one of these: http://www.goody.com/Products/Styling_Tools/TangleFix_-_Brights?colId=cd08de84-95c8-43ae-bc4f-4602c4d08362&c_id=35a36c88-d359-4104-a53c-dfbfd8452780 |
Do not do this. It will stretch and tear the hair. If you absolutely must have a combo, get a good leave in conditioner for after. You're going to want it before you let her try combing. |
