Frozen is kind of overrated....

Idina Menzel made the movie for me. Now I have my kids listening to Wicked.

Personally, I think Tangled was a better movie, but Frozen's songs were much better than Tangled's.

I think IM has a great voice but in my opinion, it was too "old" and strident for what is supposed to be a youngish character.

I disliked the movie. Boring! My dd liked it, which is who the target audience was. I think the music is terrible. The vocals are like fingernails down a chalkboard for me. It is pop trash but popular. I thought I was alone.

I really liked Frozen but I LOVE Tangled and Brave.

The casts in both of those movies were outstanding.

As a woman raised in the South by controlling parents...Let It Go is very emotionally resonant. Finding the strength to be yourself and trust your own instincts is huge for me. But I'm glad to hear that not everyone grew up like I did! I got tired of being told to be the good little girl with perfect manners and god forbid her own opinions.

It's a children's movie. That said, conservatives strongly protest the feminist and supposed pro-gay messages in "Let It Go" and in Frozen itself. The movie celebrates rescue through the true love of a sister rather than a prince, and points out that some so-called princes are really asshats. Sounds like a good children's movie to me. The boys in our neighborhood love it, which I find awesome.

I was really excited to see it because everyone said such amazing things... finally rented it last week and I was disappointed as well. There was no flow to the story and the characters felt flat. I do not think it is anywhere close to The Lion King!

You're right!

There were some wacko conservatives and preachers on the internet protesting the movie and Disney. They think Disney is pushing a feminist and a gay agenda through their movies.
