45 min.to 1 hour a day, after kids asleep

I don't watch many shows live. The only exception really is The Simpsons. I love Sunday night TV. It used to be the Simpsons, some long forgotten crap show, then Desperate Housewives. Ah, the good old days.

Now I watch the Simpsons and family guy on Sundays, then law and order svu on Hulu. Sometimes I'll watch other stuff on Hulu like The Neighbors or The Goldbergs. I used to like Modern Family really well, but it's not as funny to me as it used to be.

I rarely watch anything live, but I probably have 20+ shows per week on my DVR.

It is outrageous, I know

I might love my DVR more than my family....

My kid is 8 and I watch at night and some during the day.

I watch a lot of TV, mostly after the kids are asleep, or sometimes if they're occupied and I just need a break.

An hour or less a night. We don't have a DVR and the only shows I really like to watch new episodes of are Bones and Hell's Kitchen. I don't care enough about any other show to routinely adjust my evening to try to fit it in while it's airing.

My husband and I watch every night after the kids (6 and 8) go to bed -- probably 3 hours each night. We have two DVRs that are both about 50% full -- a lot of series dramas we watch together (The Following, Blue Bloods, Crisis, Grimm, American Horror Story), as well as crap/fluff (Millionaire Matchmaker, The Voice, American Idol, Glee), and special interest stuff on HGTV, Bravo and A&E. We also Netflix movies or series (Dexter, Orange is the New Black, etc.) occasionally.

Not much, but when we do, we connect to BBC, both live and recorded shows using a VPN service (else you cannot watch BBC contents outside UK). News and other shows are very different and packed with more facts than similar US shows. Fyi, VPN service is a site or software that gives you a foreign IP address based on which country you chose from their web/software. Most free ones are slow, the paid ones offer enough bandwidth to allow streaming tv shows 99% uninterrupted.

I like TV, but I don't have time to watch much anymore (would have more time if I wasn't online at night).

A lot of my go-to shows have ended in the last couple of years and I've not been able to replace them. I miss having a favorite show or show I really look forward to. I sometimes watch Hart of Dixie on CW. I find it very relaxing...the small town, always good weather, and women are impeccably dressed and put together. DH and I usually record SNL and skim through it the next day. We also like Portlandia. That's about it for me.

I think a lot of people gasp at the thought of watching tv. I remember our old next door neighbors growing up did not allow tv in their home. Kids came to my house on Saturday nights to watch Soul Train or Solid Gold. Ha -dating myself!

I work full time and still manage a couple hours of tv (total, not consecutively) a day. Two elem school kids. We watch mostly DVRd shows. We'll watch maybe 30 min together (comedy or a competition reality show before they go to bed -- The Voice, The Amazing Race). One episode may take 2 nights. I watch a show while running on a treadmill and then maybe the news or Jimmy Fallon before bed. I stay up too late, so that is probably how I manage. I also listen to the news in the background in the morning. I would feel out of touch if I did not hear the local news on a regular basis.

I watch a lot of tv. A lot. I love television very much and its pretty much on whenever I'm home. I have a 4 year old.

Maybe a 1/2 hour once a month? If I happen to follow DH downstairs when he is watching something, and accompany him (while I am reading, say, or on my Ipad)? Unless I'm doing this, or putting in a DVD for my DD, then no, I don't watch TV for myself.

I watch stuff on DVR after the kids go to bed. So 8/9-10ish most nights.

Grey's
Parenthood
Scandal
Criminal Minds (DH watches this more than I do)
Big Bang Theory
Daily Show

My kids are all asleep by 8:30, I will frequently watch an hour of TV at night. I don't usually watch anything on cable but something on Amazon Prime or Netflix instead.

Hmm... let's see:

Monday: Antiques Roadshow
Tuesday: The Goldbergs, or anything good on PBS... they usually show a history documentary that night
Wednesday: The Middle, Modern Family, and Nashville
Thursday: Parks and Rec, Parenthood
Friday: go out or watch a movie
Sat: same as Friday
Sunday: Downton Abbey or Masterpiece Theatre

So about an hour or two a night. I know they try to get you to watch "blocks," for example all the shows on Wed between 8 and 10, but I don't like Suburgatory which is sandwiched between The Middle and Modern Family. So I'll get my ass off the couch and do chores then.

Wow, reading through this it looks like a lot. But I never watch daytime TV. The evening is my downtime, when I can finally stop moving.
