OP, I just wanted to say-good for you! It is very difficult to lose weight without the support of your significant other. DH lost 50lbs and I lost 40lbs and we have both kept it off for a few years now. We could have never done this if both of us were not on board. We both fully support each other's exercise habits (by juggling the kids morning/evenings often alone) and we hardly ever try to tempt the other with suggesting eating a unhealthy dinner. We both do a TON of meal prep on Sunday nights for the upcoming week, so we are never in a pinch and find ourselves in the drive through. An unexpected result is this has really strengthened our marriage. We are so fit now and often will get a babysitter simply to go on a long hike or a long run. It is really nice to be healthy together. Plus we are simply more attractive to each other, which was quite the pleasant surprise in the bedroom
keep at it! |
+1 I'm a patient of Dr. Kahan's with my weight under control. Common-sense weight management. No gimmicks. It's not always easy, but it doesn't have to be so hard. |
