kids' favorite "real" meals

My parents taught me to teach my children to like one non kid meal that I knew I could get at any restaurant. No matter where we go, I can always order a grilled piece of salmon with rice and broccoli. It makes going out to eat so much easier.

my 2 year old loves lamb chops as well (and a well cooked steak)! In fact she usually eats more than my DH or I do....its an expensive favorite!

My kid eats a wide range of foods but in terms of what I might consider grown-up or the least kid-like would be steak with either broccoli or brussel sprouts and a spinach salad. Loves it. She's 4.

Age 6:

Sushi

Mussels

Anything pan sauteed in butter: steak, lamb chops, pork chops, chicken thighs.

Roasted chicken (but only if I share some of the crispy skin)

Tuna with avocado

Meatballs (usually half beef, half lamb or pork) in red sauce

When dining out, his default order is mussels if at all possible. Then meatballs.
