OP don't do it! Such drugs are known to backfire when taken in different circusntsnces than usual.

Maybe the change in air pressure will do them good? I find chewable Benadryl, Tylenol, and Motrin are the best things to pack. No risk of spills, and you can pack far more doses because they're more compact!

If congested give a nice warm shore before you leave, and maybe medicine. Nasal rinse if stuffy. Then rent them some movies to take their mind off feeling bad. It will be over soon...

Hard candy to suck on , or bottles or sippy cups so that they swallow and their ears don't feel pressure. Snacks, medicine, things to make them comfortable.
