
It seems like it is more the commute that is tiring than the actual job, correct?
Otherwise, I would've suggested getting a doctor's note if you are truly in danger of pre-term labor, but other than that, I am not sure there is much of a solution to the commuting. Everyone deals with the 3rd trimester differently. We all get tired and feel like a beached whale. Some deal with it better than others and can work until the day of labor. You may want to consider taking a few sick days (if you can afford it) to help alleviate some of the tiredness, but after the baby is born you'll wish you had those vacation days back - time flies by on maternity leave. I'm 36 weeks and plan on working up until the delivery date, mainly because I'm trying to save all my leave for after the baby is born. I will say that the walk to/from metro is exhausting me, and I might start working from home a few days a week. |
