I have dune. I guess I like it? It looks like I thought it would look.

Thanks! Kind of a silly question, I know. . . but I was thinking of giving one to someone who has the "greyed" colors that are so popular now. Couldn't tell if the Dune looked too beige (rather than off white) for her kitchen? That's why I was also considering the Ocean color or maybe a pop of yellow with the Quince.

I prefer my Staub over my LC.

Could you please share some of the reasons? I'm very interested. Thanks!

Black enameled interior is far easier to clean, and will never stain. The spikes on the underside of the lid are genius--the liquid that steams up drips back into the food rather than down the sides. The knob is metal, not plastic. I also find the blue enamel exterior color really beautiful.

The black enameled interior is the reason I don't prefer the staub. Easier to see what you are doing in LC.

Never ever had a problem seeing what I was doing with the black interior of the Staub. It's not a cavern!

You should look up pictures of how stained the white enamel interior of LCs get. You can bleach them, but that is a temporary fix.

Some people do think that Staubs are heavier than LCs, but they are both pretty heavy, IMO.

Also, + 1 for the hamilton beach slow cooker.

I appreciate your recommendations and did order the 6 3/4 size.

Great, enjoy it! I love my Le Creuset.

I'm not saying its impossible. Just harder.

I've had the same LC dutch oven for a decade, use it regularly, and it looks the same inside as the day I bought it. I previously had one that was a wedding present to my grandparents. The enamel chipped in one spot after many decades of use, but the inside was still clean inside. So I'm not sure how other folks are wrecking theirs.
