Seems like plenty to make fruit salad with.

Most are not in season...

The hell? Has anyone ever explained to you the difference between "in season" and "in a store" ?

Second this, I make this often in the fall and winter and it is really good.

+1. Or with goat cheese, as I hate bleu cheese You could even add some dried cranberries.

Apples, blue cheese, cranberries with an apple cider vinagrette

I would probably serve a big fruit platter with thin red and green apple slices (squeeze lemon juice to prevent browning), pear slices (red and green), grapes (red and green), and a cream cheese dip and a caramel dip. Artfully sprinkle with dried cranberries and apricots. Have a bowl of clementines on the table as well.

On the cheap/less fancy: a bowl of clementines, apples, and pears. Grab and eat.

Not in season--just because they have them at the store (shipped in from South America) doesn't mean they're in season.

This. How about pears or apples, either are good sliced or warmed in a chunky compote.

They are in season because they are all currently being harvested in the United States. You know a lot less about agriculture than you think.

Yuck, if this is what strawberries and blueberries taste like in "season" something has gone very wrong.
