Yes, this place is decidedly hit or miss, but after a problematic patch they have been more hit than miss. They are also the best place in town to get the fiery hot Mala menu, which makes

I think this is the place that has the really delicious spicy tofu. It is SO spicy- but I eat it and I just want to eat more and more (and then drink a gallon of water). Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Whatever it was, I am totally craving more of it! The restaurant we went to was in DC called Panda Gourmet. I will try the ma po tofu -- I hope that is the spicy tofu dish people are talking about!
