Weird. I like both of those things, but together, they don't sound appetizing. |
| My mother still remembers when I was growing up and had a friend who was a very picky eater. He would only eat a few things and his favorite was cream cheese, honey and bread and butter pickles. She didn't usually keep these in the house, but started to keep some cream cheese and B&B pickles (we only used dill) in the house for when he visited. |
| Two of my parents' favorites growing up -- the cottage cheese and ketchup combo mentioned above and peanut butter, lettuce and mayo sandwiches. Yes, they are from the midwest. They would always roll their eyes when I protested being served either of these two concoctions. Now that I'm an adult, I feel justified b/c they are objectively disgusting (the food, not my parents!) |
I like orange juice on my cornflakes. |
I'm the one whose DH eats cottage cheese & ketchup together. He's from the midwest too! |
| I will dip just about anything into a Wendy's frosty. (french fries, the saltines you get with the chili...) |
| Spaghetti covered in cream cheese--sorry of melty like an Alfredo sauce. Oddly good. |
| my husband puts spaghetti (noodles plus sauce) or spaghetti o's on a peanut butter sandwich |
I'm from the Midwest and you're making me hungry. Although, I moved from ketchup to Catalina dressing - delicious. |
| (british) baked beans with peanut butter. yuck |
I'm also from the Midwest and the version of that samdwich that my mother would occasionally eat had pickle relish on it too! |
Because it's so, so delicious.
|
| My dad (And my sister) both eat tuna fish and jelly sandwiches. |
I had that in Denmark. College roommate sprinkled sugar on her green salads. Childhood friend ate sandwiches of white bread, kraft singles, and ketchup. |
My grandmother ate hers with Gatorade. |
