Weird. I like both of those things, but together, they don't sound appetizing.

My mother still remembers when I was growing up and had a friend who was a very picky eater. He would only eat a few things and his favorite was cream cheese, honey and bread and butter pickles. She didn't usually keep these in the house, but started to keep some cream cheese and B&B pickles (we only used dill) in the house for when he visited.

Two of my parents' favorites growing up -- the cottage cheese and ketchup combo mentioned above and peanut butter, lettuce and mayo sandwiches. Yes, they are from the midwest. They would always roll their eyes when I protested being served either of these two concoctions. Now that I'm an adult, I feel justified b/c they are objectively disgusting (the food, not my parents!)

I like orange juice on my cornflakes.

I will dip just about anything into a Wendy's frosty. (french fries, the saltines you get with the chili...)

I'm from the Midwest and you're making me hungry. Although, I moved from ketchup to Catalina dressing - delicious.

Because it's so, so delicious.

Anonymous wrote:This isn't THAT weird, but we are currently living in Argentina and the other day we had a sandwich that came with fries covered in mayo (like you couldn't even see the fries over the layer of mayo) with scrambled eggs underneath and chimi sauce on top. It was def. odd.

This is cultural. Fries with mayo -- common all over the world. And many things are served with an egg on top.

In Japan, pizza with corn, beets and other odd ingredients.

I had that in Denmark.

College roommate sprinkled sugar on her green salads. Childhood friend ate sandwiches of white bread, kraft singles, and ketchup.
