Yes, it’s normal. If any “consolation,” the meds you are on now are the lowest dose you’d be on for ART; if you progress to IUI or IVF, you’ll be taking more hormones which cause higher levels of bloat and weight gain (for an average user; of course there are variables as with everything). So, if you can get pregnant with such a minimally invasive treatment now and only gain 8 lbs, that would be a huge win. Good luck! |
I had no side effects from Clomid but Estradiol and Progesterone are horrible. Weight gain, bloating, mood swings, fatigue. Others who have experienced this: does it go away? I’m considering asking my doc to lower the dose (I don’t have any known infertility, just gay - so maybe he will be willing) |
Yes I did about 10 % But after I stopped clomid my weight went down to normal it takes about 2 months |
