Explain the pregnant tummy shape and size to me please

Oooh same here, down to the 14 weeks. I am reasonably tall (5'7") but short-waisted. Only my stretchiest work pants still fit. Going up a size doesn't help because the butt and hips are huge but the waist still cuts across my stomach. Elastic-waist skirts are much better; hardly shows at all that way, for some reason. But it's a daily debate as to whether to tell at work. I pretty much hide behind my desk when the nosier/more observant people wander by.
