Or Caiden. Or Caden. Or Kaiden. Or Kayden. Seriously, those are all in the top 500. People are insane.

Who the hell is still naming their kid Madison??

DD's name moved up to #7. Do I care? No. Do people judge me for it? God I hope not! She was our first and we didn't know any kids named that...and as I hadn't discovered DCUM yet I had no idea I should even check social security website to avoid looking like a lemming. Damage was done by that time- we both loved and love her name .

Mason. Give me a freaking break. People are so annoying.

Going on nearly 20 years in the top 10 for me. (My own name, that is, which was pretty uncommon when I was born.) Sigh.

Wow! Check out top 5 names by year. Michael, years and years, Jessica, Jennifer. So many kids with the same names over the years. fascinating!

I think that's pretty surprising. I have never met another Mason, nor have I even heard of anyone naming their kid Mason except whatever her name is Kardashian.

1913 to 1946 Mary was the top choice. Wow.

I have a friend who insisted that she was going to name her daughter Maison, pronounced mason. She didn't have a daughter, so... whew.

Maybe there was a reissue of Splash in a hidef?

I for one can't wait to vote for a Presidential candidate named Jaiydyn or Jaxson

Max or Paige?

One of those, yes. And I don't give a shit what anyone thinks.

Did anyone plug Larla into the search function!? That would be hilarious.

Here's what SSA has to say about Larla:

Larla is not in the top 1000 names for any year of birth in the last 13 years.

So go for it, DCUM - no one has taken that name yet! Your child could be infamous.
