DD's name moved up to #7. Do I care? No. Do people judge me for it? God I hope not! She was our first and we didn't know any kids named that...and as I hadn't discovered DCUM yet I had no idea I should even check social security website to avoid looking like a lemming. Damage was done by that time- we both loved and love her name  .

I think that's pretty surprising. I have never met another Mason, nor have I even heard of anyone naming their kid Mason except whatever her name is Kardashian. |

I have a friend who insisted that she was going to name her daughter Maison, pronounced mason. She didn't have a daughter, so... whew. |

Here's what SSA has to say about Larla:
Larla is not in the top 1000 names for any year of birth in the last 13 years. So go for it, DCUM - no one has taken that name yet! Your child could be infamous.
