| OP here. Thanks for all the inputs above, particularly to the PP who has NDI built a house 4 years ago. These comments are very helpful. I am also wondering using Stanley Martin as the builder. The house plans for Stanley Martin neighborhood series look equally competitive as NDI and some are even more attractive in terms of layout and finishes. Anyone has any thoughts on comparing these two builders? |

| We looked at both builders when we thought we were going to get a lot. It seemed to me that Stanley was a bit more expensive. I think there finishes maybe a bit nicer. Everyone we talked to liked the ndi employees. Stanley has a real estate agent you have to deal with. Apparently he can rub some people the wrong way. We never got that far that I dealt with him, but my work friend wasn't a huge fan |
