The other thing I've found is in some of the newer developments, they'll put in sidewalks that just randomly end.
In our old Falls Church neighborhood (off Pimmit Drive), there was a newer townhouse development, and their were sidewalks within the development itself, but they wouldn't take you anywhere outside of the development. |
We live in N. Arlington and they actually just put in a sidewalk on our street. That seems to be happening around the county, but it happens slowly! |
Sure. We live near the Maple/Philadelphia intersection, by the library and community center. I don't know of any streets in Old Takoma, or the area close to Carroll Ave., that don't have sidewalks (there may be some, of course). We walk a lot. Lots of hills, though. Good for the legs! ![]() |
