That has to be the stupidest quote I've ever seen. So you think that by talking about Chinese restaurants in VIRGINIA of all places are *ALL* Chinese food. Being raised by a fantastic Chinese cook, I can tell you that there are very few restaurants outside of NYC or SF in the US that approach good homemade Chinese food or even average Chinese relative to Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and most of China. You have no idea. This is like saying that there are no good American cuisine restaurants because all you can find are TGI Fridays, Applebys and Quiznos.

Thirded. Not amazing, but the best I've had locally. I used to really like Oriental Star but think their quality has gone down.

House of dynasty- alexandria in hayfield shoppiing center. It's the best in the metro area and classy! Only for sit down or take out though, no delivery
