OP here. You're right, PP. He's not vested in the process yet. That's why I'm trying to find outside resources to get him started. A little push away from the nest...

Plus I don't know about your husbands, but mine will listen to an outside source more than he will to me.

My sister tried a couple of differen careers transitioning from SAHM back to work and through a divorce. She kept at different things but ultimately went through an educational program at a community college (not this area) to supplement her degree with the necessary classes/credits to sit for the CPA exam. A number of the classes met a lot online and she did very well and passed all 4 (I think) parts of the CPA exam at her first sittings. It is a manageable schedule and she is doing well, does not bring her work home, etc.
