Nook -- worth it?

Love my Nook Color. I also have an IPad, but always have the Nook with me to read whole waiting at school pick-up, at the playground, at swim practice, you name it, it goes everywhere with me. I'm considering upgrading to the the tablet.

No real opinion on the nook, but I know people who have them and they love them. The only reason I'm commenting is because I've been reading on my iPad recently and I really enjoy it. I'm reading more now than I had done in years. I have a few book in which I'm currently reading and they are only a touch away.

One thing of note however is that I got rid my iPad case. It was made of heavy and bulky neoprene rubber. If I recall the manufacturer promised it could withstand a five-megaton explosive blast. That's an exaggeration, but the gist of my story it that my case was too bulky and it ended up being more trouble than it was worth.

I got a kindle and love it. I also have an Ipad (which the kids steal) so I love having the black/white version which is only for books. I order a lot from Amazon so for me the Kindle was the way to go. I can order books from my computer for search for them on the Kindle. They are instantly loaded onto my kindle. I didn't get a nook mostly because I feel like Amazon has better prices, and I have Amazon prime so I get access to the lending library. I can access all my kindle books on the Ipad too so that's a nice feature.
