Dr. Alalouf - How can anyone possibly still trust this guy?

1. Dr. Alalouf's practice lost maybe 15% of patients due to this "circus". Do the math, that leaves 85% of satisfied patients. Sorry this is upsetting to some, but shows true charcter to who he is.

2. Dr. Alalouf will be returning to practice on Sept. 2nd, treating each patient with the kindness, skill and demeanor as always (yay for Dr. A)

3. DR. ALALOUFS practice is still thriving

4. Yes- Dr. Alaouf signed the consent, I really wonder how many people would have opted not to knowing it could cost him millions of dollars to take to trial. PP--easy for you to talk talk talk..........put your wallet where your mouth is.

5. Dr. Alaloufs wife ran the race for Autism-kudos to her, atleast you guys got something right.

I understand Jeff not wanting to back down now that he feels as though he has been "attacked" but what Jeff doesnt know is Dr. A is just trying to protect his family. It really bothers me that he reacted in such a defensive manner, however, its his site.

Jeff you should take the PP down it does not state facts!! Call an attorney

1.Dr. Alalouf's practice lost maybe 15% of patients due to this "circus? Do you have facts for this? The good news is he won't be getting NEW clients which means he won't grow anymore.
2. Dr. Alalouf will be returning to practice on Sept. 2nd, treating each patient with the kindness, skill and demeanor as always (yay for Dr. A) WHERE DO YOU get kindness, skill and demeanor from someone who did so much unethical work?
3. DR. ALALOUFS practice is still thriving..... (just friends ,family and members of his temple) and few other patients that weren't harmed yet....Again his business won't GROW. No ethical pediatric doctor would even ATTEMPT to recommend him now.
4. Luckily i don't have to put my money where my mouth is since I would NEVER have done anything unethical like he did
5. Dr. Alaloufs wife ran the race for Autism-kudos to her, atleast you guys got something right. Too bad her husband didn't do the "right" thing for that autistic boy...

I'm glad you find humor in Dr.Alalouf taking advantage of an autistic child

Shows you the kind of patients (friend or family) that are going to stick with him

Cleary, he didn't take advantage of any of your kids. Sounds like you're just as sick as him. I guess he gaves you a piece of the profits. How does it feel to be related to such a dishonest person or have such a close tie to him?

I'm not surprised that people defend Dr. A like you do. You probably support Guantanimo Bay inmates as well. Always looking out for the rights of the people that do wrong. Do you defend Osama Bin Laden as well?

Dr. A took advantage of children. He's a criminal. How can you defend that?

For the record, I support the rights of Guantanimo Bay inmates. Most of them were turned in for bounties and probably never committed an anti-American act in their lives. They have been subject to inhumane treatment. Clearly, they have suffered much more than any patient of Dr. Alalouf. Furthermore, I am not aware of any criminal charges that have been lodged against Alalouf, so its not accurate to call him a criminal.

I find this discussion very tiring. If you don't want to use Alalouf's practice, don't use it. Nobody is forcing you. If you want to put your trust in Alalouf, do it. No one is preventing you (at least not after September). But, continually repeating the same things over and over, and making ridiculous analogies such as the above poster, is really making me wish a pox on the whole lot of you.

I've just removed the text of the last message because the author apparently didn't get the message that Dr. Alalouf's wife and kids are off limits. I don't care if the information is true. I don't care if the information is positive. I don't care if the wife and kids just won the lottery. I don't want to read it here.

I feel like there is a contest to see who can piss me off the most and right now both sides are winning. Please stop it.

Exactly, unbelievable that the pp would compare this doctor to Osama Bin Laden. Just to make an analogy like that is terrible. I agree with you Jeff, and this will be my last post on here, because it's tiring, like you said.

Don't know this Dr- but had this occurred to my child I know I'd feel like letting the world know and be relentless/passionate about this dr. (honestly- rape comes in mind when reading of unnecesary procedures done- particularly of a minor)- i am not a sock puppet- but thank you DCUM for being here so the rest of the parents are aware.. they can make their own informed decision.

Dr. Alalouf took advantage of an autistic child. Maybe he's not a criminal but that's a criminal act. Being the friend of a friend who knows a victim of Dr. Alalouf, I'm not upset if assessments of him aren't 100% accurate. He knows what he did and so do the victims.

Many Guantanamo Bay inmates threaten to kill Americans but I guess that's ok as well. I love it when my tax dollars go to support rights of people that hate Americans. Also, many inmates support Bin Laden as well.

My point is this forum is getting too politically correct. I love the way Jeff responded to the lawyer with the joke of a letter threatening to sue DCUM. As far as the threat goes, it's not what you know but who you know so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Let me get this straight. You see nothing wrong with anonymously calling someone a criminal who has not been charged, let along convicted, of a crime. You feel that because some inmates at Gitmo are guilty, all of them should be treated as such. Moreover, you resent that your tax dollars are being used to determine which are guilty and which are not? That's one warped sense of justice you have.

I wonder, how do you feel about your tax dollars being used to torture both the guilty and the innocent?

Do not misunderstand my reply to Alalouf's lawyer. The letter was an ill-timed and poorly conceived attempt to intimidate me and I treated it as such. But, if you think that my response was a license for you to cavalierly spread false information behind a cloak of anonymity, you are sadly mistaken. Given that you have said just about all that needs to be said on this topic, and your declared lack of concern for accuracy in the charges you post, I would hope that you will quickly conclude your participation in this thread. Frankly, you are simply creating sympathy for Dr. Alalouf at this point.

Back to my whole point of my participation on this topic, a friend of mine was affected by Dr. Alalouf. When I heard the slap on the wrist penalty he received and knowing that he'll be allowed to continue after serving his short time, it upsets me. My husband knows the victims better than I do. Sorry if the info isn't 100% accurate, but I didn't realize I'm in a court of law here.

I don't know of anyone that has sympathy for Dr. Alalouf after what he did. Your last line of your response is classic.
