If you want Lee-lah, then spell it Leela (like Futurama, but also a common Indian name). If you want Lil-lah, then you should use two L's like Lilla. I think Lilla is super pretty, very scandinavian. |
I love Lila pronounced Leela -- it's a nice Sanskrit name-- but don't like the Leela spelling. Doesn't look as pretty to me, so we rejected the name altogether because my experience reflected what most PPs say: Americans pronounce Lila with the eye sound. |
