Lie-luh. If I wanted it to be pronounced Lee-luh, I'd spell it Lela.

Lie-lah, also spelled Lyla.

If you want Lee-lah, then spell it Leela (like Futurama, but also a common Indian name).

If you want Lil-lah, then you should use two L's like Lilla. I think Lilla is super pretty, very scandinavian.

I love Lila pronounced Leela -- it's a nice Sanskrit name-- but don't like the Leela spelling. Doesn't look as pretty to me, so we rejected the name altogether because my experience reflected what most PPs say: Americans pronounce Lila with the eye sound.

Yes, Leela is an Indian name pronounced like that. Quite nice, I think.

my great-aunt Leila pronounced her name "Lee-luh." She was from Southern Indiana.
