I have a BSN and MSN and have been a nurse for 20 years.
Nurses around here start as new graduates at around 55-60K with shift differential, you easily earn 70-75K your first year. Salaries go up with experience. A RN with a bachelor's degree in nursing and 5 years of experience earns about 100K with shift differential figured in. Almost everyone works 3 twelve hour shifts so you get 4 days a week off. I've had an awesome career. I'm in administration now, have been for several years. My salary before bonus is about 200K - not big law money but I feel I'm not doing too badly!
