Inexpensive Private Schools

How do you know what teacher salaries are? Just curious, because I'm looking at schools that cost around $15,000. They are nothing like Maret, et. al, and I don't need them to be. But I think teacher satisfaction is critical to helping ensure quality education.

You can ask what they pay their teachers as compared to the AISGW (or AIMS) average. They don't usually like to give a dollar figure but if they are a member of one of those two organizations they have to report about salaries and they receive aggregated information back about the schools in the group. If they say less than average, find out if it's significantly less or just a little less. I think it's likely a $15k school pays less than $30k schools but they should still be able to pay a reasonable salary at that price.

We know that our teachers are paid less than average because the school sent out a survey asking parents if they would be willing to pay more to raise teachers' salaries and/or pay for a few other things.
