COLLEGE graduations: human name readers v AI?

Just attended one for my DS with AI. It went smoothly and I only knew it was AI because he told me in advance. He was perfectly happy with it and his name was pronounced correctly for a change. I didn’t really think it was a big deal. Having said that, there were over a thousand names called. For 200 students, it would be just as easy to read them out rather than setting up the whole system.
