They wait to announce until they have updated weather conditions. But they seemed unhappy to even open at all today so I would be shocked if they opened on time tomorrow

And I think it’s safe that they’ll open on a delay all week

I told all of my students today to expect delays all week so those of them who normally expect to get everything done in class are going to have to accept that classes will be short and there will be homework. Lots of groans but they understood.

Student here-I ride a bus which was extremely late today and on my way to school I saw SO much Ice in front of the school and saw multiple students slip on the Ice. Anyone think Mcps will be sued over some of this?

As long as there’s a speck of ice on some sidewalk or road in MoCo there will be a delay is my prediction.

No. It is a open and obvious hazard that MCPS and Montgomery County went to extreme measures to mitigate to a reasonable degree. In many cases, those hazards weren't on MCPS property
