| Always thought I had a mediocre voice (female American) until a few years ago, 2 men and 1 woman (all non-American) said my voice was nice. Then I realised that I liked the voice of one of the men a lot and the other one not at all. Now I notice my own voice and the voice of others. It can change a lot depending on the context. |
| I cannot stand vocal fry. |
| This is actually the big reason that many big silent film movie stars did not transition to talkies. |
Yes. Same for me. I love my husband’s voice! It was one of the things I first noticed about him. |
I would say they both sound intelligent. |

| I really like the sound of Indian female voices. The accent is delightful and they often have wonderful ways of expressing themselves. I met an Indian woman in a context where I read her writing and saw her photo long before I heard her voice. She was gorgeous. Unfortunately she and her family moved to the USA when she was a toddler. She sounded like an American bimbo. |
are you male or female? |
It’s funny, because I find the speech of the stars from the 30s and 40s to be so affected. They all have the same tone and delivery. It must have been taught. |
And you sound like a racist misogynist |
From the men I've known with deep to very deep voices they also had a big D |
Kelly kapoor? |

I like the military voice and cop voice (both attractive but probably have a controlling personality?)
Also like a youthful male voice (playful, fun, etc) |
Really not going for snark, just genuinely curious. Why did you, an American, spell realize with an s? |
| My DH grew up fully bilingual in English and Spanish. It’s strange because he sounds so different in each language. His voice deepens considerably when he speaks Spanish. I adore him but his voice in English is somewhat nasal! |
