do i need to get snow tires for baltimore winter driving?

| It's more ice than snow here which I think is a bigger problem (cue the people saying no one knows how to drive in winter around here! But ice is different). She should be okay with all season tires, but I would make sure she knows to give herself plenty of time to get to work and knows to turn into a skid, remind her of a safe following distance. I have to go to work in all weather and switched to all wheel drive when it was time for my next car. |

| If you need to drive in snow. Get snow tires. If you can stay off the roads until they are plowed. Don't worry about it. |
