FCPS (Fairfax) 504 meeting - parent rights

We could hire a lawyer, but we are also confused how blatantly open they are about not being interested in our opinion. Are they legally allowed to openly act in a disrespectful way?

What kind of question is this? This is your interpretation.

If the school is disagreeing with what you want, that doesn’t mean they are being disrespectful. With a 504, the school is only obligated to inform you of the meeting. Your consent is not required.

This ^^ is another person telling you that the public doesn't care about following 504s. You need an IEP to get any attention. You need to read up on this and know the differences.
