House for kids

It’s funny, we live in a great school district with a mix of apartments, townhouses, and sfh’s. The best birthday parties and play dates I’ve been to have been at the apartments. First of all they have a playground on site which the kids love to run out to and also there’s always other kids around. We happen to live in the sfh and my three kids rarely play in our yard because they want to go to the park where other kids are. I really thought it was a big deal to have a house but now see how wrong I was. I actually wish we had gotten one of the townhouses instead and banked more money. Two things I don’t like though about multi family are pot smoke and neighbors who complain about noisy kids. They are just annoyances through and not worth risking financial health over. I know several parents stuck in a big house but with no kids nearby who would be better off in a multi family set- up with lots of kids and families in a good school area. I would def prioritize that.

I loved living in an apartment when I first moved to this country. I live in a beautiful SFH now, but I still prefer an apartment.
