Are you and DH / DW in good shape?

i think we are but we are old - in early 60s. nature takes its toll

Yes. Both were athletes. Married 27 years. We still workout together (both WAH). Our kids are athletes too. Fit family

Not really, either of us. But we are both ectomorphs so the lack of fitness just makes us skinny fats vs toned. We both have pretty low genetic potential for actual weight problems, it's more an issue of health (working out is good for you!) And vanity (how flat do you need your stomach to be?)

we are! both slender (me 125 at 5'6" and him 160 at 6'0"), in our 40s. We match.

(i walk a lot and do yoga every day for 20 minutes, he bikes around and does push ups etc every day for 20 minutes)

We’re both in good shape, probably within five pounds of what we weighed in college.

We actually met in the gym. Lol

12 years and 2 kids later, we are both still fit. We promised to motivate and support each other with our fitness goals.

That sounds like us, except in our case it's 20 years. We've each gained about 5 pounds in that time.

We are. It must be all the shaboinking.

We are both obese. We don’t care anymore. We are foodies. That’s who we are, and we are happy.

DH is very in shape. He worked hard to maintain it as we have two boys. Now that they are their teens and sports/male BS kicks in it has paid off. Good example of discipline even when you are old it matters.

Me, could lose 15 - but DH with abs and able to lift with the kids inspires me.

Opposite here.

I do a fitness sport with both teen kids (and now coach it too). DW struggles with time outside of work and a joint issue (plus she doesn’t do the sport we do).

We are. We both weigh close to our college weights (we are 45 and 48). I lift and walk 5 miles per day, he cycles and rows, and we hike together.

You sound like our friends - they’re foodies, really happy and a joy to be around. We’re a fit couple and are always excited when we get invited over (they’re amazing cooks) or go to a new restaurant together.

I hope you don’t have kids.

I look like I’m in good shape and maybe I’m healthier than a lot of women my age, but I don’t exercise that much. Spouse on the other hand exercises regularly but is fat.
