| 2.5 slices per person of the largest pizza |
| The general rule is 3 sliced per person, so . 375 x number of people. Maybe you can assume less than 3 for kids, so 6-7 should be fine. |
What?! There's no world in which I would allow my kid to eat FOUR slices of pizza! Not even if it were mealtime. This is why the US is so fat. |
That's not a rule. And what adult is eating 3 slices of pizza in-between meals? |
+1 |
This is the meal. |
I don't eat any meals between 3 and 5pm. |

i put this same question into chat gpt for a party recently. I did double cut and the adults were mainly female. 3 slices for an adult seems like alot. I never eat 3 slices of pizza at a party, maybe 2- especially if double cut.
So.. we had 2 full pizzas left over and they are now wrapped in smalle packages in the freezer

| It also really depends if the pizza is good. If it’s the one you Hugo but with the party package at SkyZone type place even some of the kids may not be hungry enough to really eat it. I was at a party with about 20 kids this last weekend and I think they went through just over two double sliced pizzas. Maybe one dad ate a slice and each kid had one plus a little bag of chips. The pizza is a money maker for the venue not a draw for the kids who eat pizza constantly. |
I think op needs to be honest about the parents size. If they are big order a lot, if they are in shape, plan on them eating no pizza. Nobody will eat 3 slices. Have the pizza double cut to cut down on waste. |
Yes, this. The standard 2 slices per person always feels risky (too low) to me, but with some smaller kids and parents who likely won't eat and the 3pm start time, it feels perfect. That's 5.75 pizzas so round up to 6. |
| Op here. The venue offers to help us to get 1 large topping pizza from domino at $14 each if we use their service. They don't have kitchen on site. I am still debating if we should use their services to save the hassle or we just call for pizza delivery and pay for delivery fee/tips at the venue. We have Papa John's, dominos, paisano(kid do not like), Pizza Hut and Potomac pizza nearby the place. We don't need fancy pizzas, only need cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. Would you use their domino pizza service or we order on our own? We rarely order from domino pizza, how does it taste? Is $14 a pizza reasonable or we can just order on our own ? |
Op here. The evite is only for kid to count total number attending. I "assume" parents will just do the drop off, so I assume 6-7 adults includes me & DH. The numbers of adults staying could be either more less or a lot more. |
I'm sure you can take a look at them and size them up and order accordingly. But also why are so many parents staying at a drop off party for 9-11 yr olds? |
| Probably 8 pizzas plus some chips. Adults may just do drop of at that age. |
