Chipmunk living under front steps

When we had it fixed, the contractor showed me the remains of the extensive tunnel systems that were collapsing and causing our driveway also to collapse. It was very expensive to fix.

They are rodents. You do not want them up against your house.

We had to have gallons and gallons of foam concrete filler piped in under our front porch because the tunnels were channeling water down to the basement when it rained. Our front walkway was also sinking and starting to crack.

Worked for a season and now they're back to digging again so we're exploring our options for eviction.

They can be a nuisance. Plug up any holes you see up against the house. They like to tunnel under patios, sheds, mulch areas. They like garages and basement outside steps. Plug up everything with cement. We use to see them every day until we started seeing a fox and we don't see them any more. The fox is welcome in our yard. We stop seeing rabbits too.
